Dennis A. Butler, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified Mental Health Care Provider. Dr. Butler helps people discover their personal strengths and vulnerabilities/weaknesses, communication styles, problem-solving styles and motivational preferences. He teaches executives and managers how to become better leaders, how to increase employee effectiveness and how to select effectively functioning teams based on an analysis of individual behavioral traits and tendencies.

For the first 15 years of his career, Dr. Butler was a therapist. In 1995, he made the decision to take a totally different approach to help people understand themselves, others and their world. He decided that he would teach people a theory of personality (the Enneagram) that they could use to understand themselves and others. He developed a model that would help people see that their difficulties in communicating and understanding one another stems from different, often unconscious, perceptions and interpretation of events.Dr. Butler also discovered that most people were afraid of change primarily because they just did not know how to go about it. He once again decided on a proactive model to teach people a set of skills that they can use to enhance the probability of change taking place and enduring.
